Your green-lidded wheelie bin is emptied weekly. Please put food and garden waste in loose or compostable bags that show the compostable logo. Food waste can also be wrapped in newspaper.

Bulky waste

Epping Forest District Council offers a paid bulky waste collection service for the removal of large items from outside your home. Large items include:

  • Beds
  • Chairs
  • Sofas
  • Fridges
  • Washing machines

Non-recyclable household waste

All non-recyclable household waste can be put in your fortnightly grey wheeled bin collection. Check that rubbish can’t be recycled or composted before putting in your wheeled bin. Don’t forget all food waste should go in your food bin.
